CMS has released the latest enrollment figures for Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). As of July 2024, 67,669423 people are enrolled in Medicare, which is an increase of 158,999 since the last report, and 79,560,396 people are enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP, which is a decrease of 403,074 since the last report. Over 8 million individuals are full-benefit dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, so are counted in the enrollment figures for both programs.
